Finally! We’ve been waiting for news on this! Let’s hope Summit give this project all the attention it deserves.
The company behind the Twilight Saga has reached an agreement to produce The Perks of Being a Wallflower, an adaptation of the controversial Stephen Chbosky novel. There hasn’t been an official announcement yet from Summit Entertainment, but with an amazing director (Chbosky himself will be taking the helm) and Emma Watson and Logan Lerman signed on as the leads, they’d be crazy not to make the deal.
If our sources are correct and everything is set, look for the flick to go into production by June.
We’re so excited to see Emma play Sam. It’s an amazing character, so nurturing and lovely. She’s going to be fantastic, for sure!
