Al Pacino's Phil Spector Biopic Signs Bette Midler & Jeffrey Tambor To Star

It’s coming together, Al – and so far, so good!

The Phil Spector murder trial HBO project is finally starting to take off. The script is complete, Al Pacino is secured for the lead role in the biopic and the production has nabbed two excellent actors for two important roles.

Bette Midler and Jeffery Tambor have both signed on for flick. Bette will play alongside Al as Linda Kenney Baden, one of Spector’s defense attorneys in his trial for the murder of actress Lana Clarkson. Jeff will play defense attorney Bruce Cutler.

And who, may we ask, gets the play the part of Spector’s hair?! It’s the most important role in the whole film, if you ask us! LOLZ!
