Last week, it was confirmed that Chord Overstreet, who opted not to return to the show at the top of the season, will in fact be coming back to Glee during sweeps. Specifically, Sam Evans will be back in Lima just in time for the New Directions to compete in Sectionals, but he isn’t the only hunk making his comeback this season. It has been confirmed by Ryan Murphy and the cast that Jon will back on show as Jesse St. James, who is now the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline, The New Directions arch-nemisis!
When the news broke, Jon’s bestie Lea Michele just couldn’t contain her excitement, immeditaley tweeting out:
“#Jesseisback! So happy to have my best friend in the world Jonathan Groff back on #glee this year! Makes me the happiest girl in the world!”
We’re right there with you, girl! We love us the Groff!
Things look like they are coming together for a really solid block of episodes come the winter time.
