The next few weeks are going to be a rough ride for Jennifer Hudson as she prepares to take the witness stand during the trial for the man accused of killing three of her family members.
Once the trial begins, the singer is expected to appear regularly in hopes that her former brother-in-law, William Balfour, is convicted for shooting her brother Jason, mother Darnell Donerson and 7-year-old nephew Julian King.
Although Balfour plead not guilty, he is accused of taking three lives in a jealous rage because he thought Jason was another man in his estranged wife’s life, who is Jennifer’s sister Julia.
We hope Jennifer can stay strong throughout the dramatic ordeal and, more importantly, we hope justice is served so she can finally have some kind of closure on the tragic incident that rocked her world in 2008.
