Oh what a sad, scandal-ridden mess!
Even though Joe Simpson recently avoided jail time for his DUI arrest, it seems Jessica Simpson is not as forgiving as the US justice system and wants to keep her daddy as far away from her as possible!
Apparently, Jessica is SO angered by all of the gay/unfaithful marriage rumors surrounding her daddums, that she’s already chosen to side with her mother in her parents’ divorce, but seeing as Joe is STILL Jessica’s manager under contract, they kinda have to interact on the regular…
Especially as Jess is currently filming the second season of NBC’s Fashion Star!
One insider reveals:
“Joe has been respectfully turning up at NBC at times he knows Jessica won’t be there. It├óΓé¼Γäós the only way that it could have worked, because Jessica is struggling to work with him around her. Jessica comes in, fulfills her work requirements and leaves, and then Joe comes in later to check in with producers and conduct any meetings that are needed. … She├óΓé¼Γäós still struggling to come to terms with Joe├óΓé¼Γäós coming out, leaving her mom and his gay affairs and doesn’t want to work on re-building their relationship until she├óΓé¼Γäós good and ready — and that’s not right now. At the moment, she hasn├óΓé¼Γäót quite forgiven him and is also considering new management when her deal with her dad expires.”
That is some tragic, awkward turtle right there.
Well, we hope that with enough time, Jessica’s feeling of betrayal will become less intense and she’ll find it in her heart to forgive her confused father!
And we just hope those rumors of him glomming on to Ashlee Simpson‘s revived music career for the $$$ are untrue! The last thing this family needs is more dramarama!
