During a scene where all of the students were huddled together in separate sleeping bags, the director Alfonso Cuaron placed Daniel next to a girl he “fancied” and shouted ACTION!
The next thing Daniel knew – a flurry of fart noises were erupting from his sleeping bag.
It turns out that his co-stars Michael Gambon and Alan Rickman had planted a farting machine inside Daniel’s sleeping bag to embarrass him in front of his crush. Kind of harsh, but also hilarious!
