Pup Survives Hit With Arrow, Finds New Home!

Oh no! This is terrible.

An Iowa family found a dog, believed to be a chihuahua, pierced by an arrow in November!

Luckily, the arrow missed any vital organs and was able to successfully undergo emergency surgery to remove the arrow and has spent the last six weeks recovering at a local shelter.

Although the police have no leads as to who could have done such a terrible act, the good news is that the pierced pup has been adopted.

Yay!

He was named Victor because “he was victorious. He came through an ordeal,” said a representative from the shelter.

Victor sounds like a fitting name to us and we wish him all the best with his new family!
