Have you ever just wanted to get away from it all?? Sure!
Most people just go on a vacation once or twice a year, or spend a weekend camping or something! Not many people would drive an hour and a half (both ways) three times a week just to swim around a natural spring DRESSED AS A MERMAN!
On TLC’s My Crazy Obsession (what else?), we meet Eric Ducharme, someone who is obsessed with mermaids, mermen, and any other kind of human/fish hybrid!
The thing is, though, he’s not hurting anyone. He isn’t even hurting himself, like those with crazy dangerous addictions that TLC likes to show as well. It’s a harmless activity, and he enjoys it! It’s not like he’s making his fins out of actual fish, and he isn’t forcing anyone to join him!
Though, one argument you COULD have is the gas he’s using — to some it might look like a waste. To him, he’s spending it wisely!
