Glee star and all-around woman to be reckoned with Jane Lynch has just confirmed that she and Dr. Lara Embry will be getting a divorce.
In a statement released Monday, she tells the public:
“Lara and I have decided to end our marriage. This has been a difficult decision for us as we care very deeply about one another. We ask for privacy as we deal with this family matter.”
The lovely ladies met back in 2009 and married on Memorial Day of 2010.
We had high hopes for these two (mainly because we have high hopes for anything Jane does), so we’re pretty bummed to hear the news!
That being said, we know this was a difficult decision and applaud them both for being mature and doing what was best in their hearts.
