Nashville Star Adopts His Onscreen Dog!!

Charles Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne on Nashville, has fallen for one of his costars!
A yellow Lab puppy named Blue!!
Blue played a pup given to his character by Juliette Barnes, played by Hayden Panettiere.
Charles’ character eventually gave away the dog to an onscreen love interest, played by Susan Misner, but he was not going to give up the pup so easy in real life!
So he adopted the pooch!
He tweeted a cute pic (above) and wrote:

“‘Member Deacon’s puppy named Sue? Well now he’s my dog… Blue! #firstpetever #memberofthefamilynow”

Awww! That’s so sweet!!
And it’s his first doggy?? So ahmayzing! Take care of that pup and she’ll take care of you!!
