Ashlee Simpson‘s other half snagged a role in the final two movies of the Hunger Games trilogy and she couldn’t be happier!
The starlet answered a question about how she felt now that Evan was cast in Mockingjay, she responded:

“I’m so excited.”

Well, she certainly shares the excitement with her man!
Evan relived the day he was called upon to be Messalla in the upcoming films, he said:

“It’s mind-blowing. When they called I was like, ‘Are you kidding?’ They said, ‘You got Hunger Games. You want to do it?'” I was like, ‘Is that a question?'”

Now that’s the sound of a man who wants to get in on all that rebellious action!
