How many women would just LOVE for their husband-to-be to design their engagement ring?
Ashlee Simpson is living the dream!
The singer’s fianc├â┬⌐ Evan Ross recently proposed, and he made sure his lady love’s engagement ring would knock her socks off!
The actor worked closely with celebrity jeweler Neil Lane to create something unique and gorgeous for Ashlee.
Neil said:
├óΓé¼┼ôHe took it very seriously and it was a wonderfully intense process. Evan was really, really sweet and he was looking for something beautiful, a unique ring that said everything: love, romance, beauty, character. He didn├óΓé¼Γäót want anything traditional.”
Evan eventually settled on a marquise-cut, vintage-inspired diamond and ruby ring, but collaborated with Neil to alter the design and make it more modern.
The final result features a white diamond at center encircled with small rubies and with more diamonds decorating the marquise-shaped setting.
And it had Ashlee overwhelmed with joy!
