The fifth season of the popular zombie show on AMC begins this coming Sunday, but they’ve already renewed it for a sixth season!

We’re not baffled by the news at all seeing as Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, and the rest of the cast managed to snag an average of 18.4 million viewer during season four!
The renewal was also confirmed by the president of AMC, Charlie Collier, who also had some kind words about the hit show!
He said:
‘We could not be more excited for Oct. 12 as we share new episodes of The Walking Dead with fans around the globe. In advance of Sunday’s season five premiere, AMC proudly confirms a sixth season order of this extraordinary series.
