However, on Monday evening Twitter exploded with the idea that Jason Derulo fell down a flight of stairs on the red carpet. What the what?!

For starters, this image (below) is from the 2011 Cannes Film Festival — not the Met Gala. Secondly, the person falling is white?! Thirdly, Jason is currently in Los Angeles– not NYC! LOLz!

We’re not certain whether the viral pic is the result of a troll or just someone not knowing what Jason looks like?! But we are certain that it’s HIGHLARIOUS!!
Perhaps, the current lack of elevator fights caused internet trolls to get creative? WE KID!
