Emma Roberts has been acting since she was just a child, but the sun might be setting on her on-camera career!
In a recent interview with Allure, the Scream Queens star revealed that her future career in Hollywood could include more behind the scenes work!

She explained:
“I think as I get older, there might come a time when I don’t want to be in front of the camera anymore and want to be more behind the scenes: I would love to produce and maybe write.”
The 24-year-old said that glamming up everyday to play Chanel Oberlin on Ryan Murphy‘s horror-comedy series got her thinking more about the issue!
She continued:
“I thought of it a lot during Scream Queens when every morning there’s full hair and makeup and heels and minidresses. And I thought, You know, I kind of want to show up to work one day and not care what I look like. It would be nice to just slip away for a little bit.”
But the arduous process of being ready for her closeup isn’t the only reason for Roberts’ interest in a career change!
Emma also opened up about wanting to protect the privacy of her 14-year-old sister Grace, who she loves “more than anything or anyone in the world.”

The actress remembered a time when her sister asked her not to post a picture of the two on Instagram last year when they were celebrating the holidays. She recalled:
“She came up to me and said, ‘Please don’t post that; people are calling me ugly on your Instagram.’ “
This incident is what inspired Roberts to pose for an un-retouched Aeire campaign!
As for her possible career change, we support Emma whether she’s on or off the camera!
