It’s okay, Justin, we still love you!
If you weren’t watching the BET Awards last night, you missed one helluva show which included an incredibly inspiring speech by Jesse Williams that apparently got Justin Timberlake in some hot water!

Shortly after the Grey’s Anatomy star accepted his Humanitarian Award at the show and talked about equal rights for black people, Justin took to Twitter to praise the actor saying:
@iJesseWilliams tho…#Inspired #BET2016

Well it wasn’t long after this that people started calling JT out, even saying things like:
So does this mean you’re going to stop appropriating our music and culture? And apologize to Janet too. #BETAwards https://t.co/0FwBOQR24D

SRSLY?!
Unfortunately, Timberlake took the troll bait and responded saying:
Oh, you sweet soul. The more you realize that we are the same, the more we can have a conversation.
Bye. https://t.co/FeTmGLOKVc

You can imagine the bottom feeders of Twitter had a blast with this and continued to criticize the father of one over various things. Thankfully the Can’t Stop the Feeling singer realized he shouldn’t Kanye West the situation and decided to apologize, simply tweeting:
I feel misunderstood. I responded to a specific tweet that wasn’t meant to be a general response. I shouldn’t have responded anyway…

I forget this forum sometimes… I was truly inspired by @iJesseWilliams speech because I really do feel that we are all one… A human race

I apologize to anyone that felt I was out of turn. I have nothing but LOVE FOR YOU AND ALL OF US.

Don’t go crying a river, JT, we got you!
We just hope Jesse saw the Grammy winner’s tweet for the high praise that it was supposed to be.
Do you think Justin deserved blowback for trying to compliment Williams?!
