Iggy Azalea Posts Worrying Message After Getting Heat For Not Stopping Concert Over Dancer's Seizure: 'I'm Worn Down'

Iggy Azalea’s backup dancer is doing totally fine after suffering a seizure… but Iggy Azalea isn’t.
The Aussie rapper posted a gloomy message on Thursday after getting slammed for not pausing her Brazil concert to seek medical assistance when her backup dancer collapsed on stage earlier in the night.

She wrote on her Instagram Stories:

“Sometimes I really feel exhausted by the world… It feels like anything I do becomes an opportunity for people to tell me why I’m s**t, why my music sucks, my clothes are ugly, why I don’t matter or why I’m a horrible person.”

Alluding to the past few years, where she’s been dubbed the poster girl of cultural appropriation and has gotten drinks thrown in her face, the Fancy performer continued:

“I’m worn down. The last four years are just me existing in a world where I can do nothing right and it’s hard not to feel like ‘what’s the point’ and keep motivated.”

The Insta-vent came hours after one of Iggy’s three backup dancers suffered a seizure on stage during her performance of Black Widow and collapsed. Although the 28-year-old called a medic over the mic, quite a few Rio De Janeiro concertgoers were shocked when she chose to keep dancing and finish the concert.

In an earlier message posted after the incident went viral, Iggy claimed she thought the dancer “had just fallen/twisted her ankle” and felt the show must go on. She wrote:

“And it may sound harsh but; you keep singing until music stops & ask for a medic which is what I did. We are all really shaken up by what happened & just thankful she is okay.”

Apparently, the hate didn’t dissipate. Iggy’s depressing follow-up message concluded with a call for fans and haters alike to be “kinder” to one another… and, of course, her.
