Adele May Have To Pay Her Ex $90 MILLION!

Adele may have to pay up!

Adele‘s divorce may cost her.
As we reported last week, via a statement from her reps, the Hello singer and husband Simon Konecki have separated after confirming in 2017 they were married.

According to several U.K. outlets, the musician and the charity entrepreneur — who welcomed son, Angelo, in 2012 — reportedly did NOT sign a prenup, which means their split could be EXPENSIVE!
In fact, if they choose to file for divorce in California — where they own property and Konecki’s business has a base of operations — he may get as much as half of her earnings.
Sandra Davis, a divorce attorney who represented Princess Diana, told the U.K. Times on Sunday:

“What is made during the marriage is likely to be split on an equal basis… It doesn’t matter who did what, or who contributed what.”

However, according to Suzanne Kingston — a lawyer who specializes in family law — Konecki might not be entitled to such a large settlement.

“Adele may be able to claim that her talent is effectively genius, which means her husband would be entitled to significantly less.”

But how much is Adele worth??
According to the U.K. Sunday Times‘ annual “Rich List” in May 2018, the 30-year-old approximately has 140 million pounds, which is roughly $182 million.
Though Forbes estimated her net worth to be $69 million the previous year, the jump in dough is because of profits from her 121-date world tour in 2016 and 2017. Per NME, the English songstress personally made 42 million pounds ($55 million) from the live extravaganza.
Additionally, in 2017, she made 9 million pounds ($12 million) from her 2015 album, 25.
In terms of real estate, Adele has a West London apartment, reportedly valued at $1.9 million to $3.8 million, and two adjacent townhouses in the London neighborhood of Kensington, which she reportedly purchased for $14.2 million, collectively. She also has a gated Beverly Hills mansion reportedly worth $9.5 million to $13 million.
In late January, months before they announced their separation, the singer reportedly transferred a three-bedroom home in the Los Angeles suburb of Van Nuys — reportedly valued at $650,000 — over to her now-estranged husband.
Per DailyMail.com, the residence is reportedly registered as the headquarters for Mammoth Water Resources, a company run by Konecki.
Last week, the musician’s representatives, Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh, confirmed their split in a statement that read:

“Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

Wishing her the best as she moves forward.
