If anyone can reel in Bobby Brown, we’d have our money on Rev. Al Sharpton — and it looks like he did just that.
We’ve gotten reports that Bobby was throwing a hissy fit over seating arrangements at Whitney Houston‘s funeral, which is a shame. And then we got a statement saying he was upset because he couldn’t see his daughter.
Here’s what Rev. Sharpton had to say about it all:
I am at Whitney’s funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!

We are out of the service. I don’t want anyone distorting Bobby Brown. He has shown love and respect today.Stop hatin’

We’re glad you were there to talk some sense into him, but how is it distorting anything at all if you admit to it being bad enough that you had to talk to him??
It’s hugely disrespectful to Whitney regardless if he was stopped from seeing his daughter! Act like an adult and deal with it after the services!
But we ARE happy you were able to cool the fire, as that was not the time or the place and something needed to be done!
Good job, Rev!
