A year goes by so quickly, doesn’t it?
Alicia Keys signed on last year as BlackBerry’s Global Creative Director and now her partnership with the smartphone company is coming to an end!
During her time with the company, the songstress worked on a number of projects which included BlackBerry’s Keep Moving campaign and their scholarship for women looking to work in the fields of technology, engineering, mathematics, etc.!
The company released a statement following the announcement of her departure at the end of January. They said:
“We have enjoyed the opportunity to work with such an incredibly talented and passionate individual.”
Talented and passionate indeed!
Maybe now that Alicia has a little bit more time on her hands, she can focus on other things like writing more amazing music!!
The Girl On Fire needs to get to the studio and create another hit soon!!
