We know Alicia Keys was a prodigy; her first album came out when she was only 20 years old!
But it sounds like her 2-year-old son Egypt may have her beat. According to the Girl On Fire singer, he is already getting started on instruments. She says:
“He plays [piano]. Egypt has a stark sense of rhythm. He also plays the drums already. He likes that most. The kid├óΓé¼Γäós making noise all day long.”
Well, sure he can play two instruments, but does he have the drive to take it on the road? She says:
“He├óΓé¼Γäós adorable. Soon Egypt will come on tour with me, and then he├óΓé¼Γäóll get a taste of that world. Most importantly, I want him to do everything he does with passion, whatever that may be.”
It sounds like Mom may have some musical competition from the little guy! JK! More like inspiration! She says:
“He├óΓé¼Γäós the best collaboration I├óΓé¼Γäóve ever done, he├óΓé¼Γäós the best song I ever wrote, the best experience I├óΓé¼Γäóve ever had, the best show I├óΓé¼Γäóve ever performed. He├óΓé¼Γäós the best everything.”
Awww! When your Mom has passion like that for you, you’re definitely going to do everything with passion!
