The first look at Another Simple Favor finally dropped!
Amid the Justin Baldoni drama, Amazon MGM Studios released the first trailer for the sequel to A Simple Favor on Tuesday — which stars rumored IRL enemies Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick again. Fans of the film will recall that the first film ended with Anna’s character Stephanie working as a successful vlogger and part-time private eye while Blake’s character Emily is behind bars. But according to the trailer, Emily is out of prison now!

The teaser starts with Stephanie at a reading for her new true-crime book The Faceless Blonde about her wild experience with the con artist Emily! Guess who shockingly shows up at the event, though? Stephanie’s frenemy! Emily even asks her to be the maid of honor at her wedding in Italy! Does she really want Stephanie to be part of her nuptials? Or is this all for revenge? Emily asks at one point:
“Do you think I invited you to get revenge? For stealing my life and taking my kid away from me? Do you think I want to make you pay?”
We wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case! However, everyone will have to wait to find out what Emily has up her glamorous sleeves when the movie drops on Amazon Prime on May 1! For now, watch the trailer (below):
