Keeping up appearances or did someone want to get the other one in a public forum to plead his case some more?
Sources are reporting that Ashlee Simpson was spotted having a pleasant lunch with her soon to be ex-husband Pete Wentz yesterday. The couple were joined by their 2-year-old son, Bronx, as they acted civilly at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Whether it’s just an act or if they are really still on amicable terms remains to be seen, but one source insists that as far as their son goes, the pair intend to keeps things friendly. The source explains:
“They just had a meal together with their son. They’re both focused on making this transition as easy as possible for him.”
Hmm. Maybe you were too young to get married, but you both at least have this parenting thing down. It’s very mature of you to put the needs of your child above your own. We hope this attitude stays with you both as you head into the messy lands called custody arrangements.
Just keep saying to yourselves, “Do what’s best for Bronx!”
