What a lovely family!
Ashlee Simpson and her son Bronx joined their new in-laws this week for the re-opening of a children’s bookstore named Books and Cookies, located in Santa Monica, California!
Diana Ross‘ daughter Chudney is the owner of such store, and she was supported by her momma, her sister-in-law Ashlee and nephew Bronx, new husband and her brother Evan Ross, as well as Joshua Faulkner, Callaway Faulker, Tracee Ellis Ross, Ross Naess, and Kimberly Ryan!
Evan was actually the one who shared the picture perfect photo on Instagram and here’s what he wrote:
“The family. Books and cookies. Amazing”
And also wrote on another similar photo:
“The family. My sisters #booksandcookies just opened up. Love when are families come together so beautiful’
The matriarch Diana talked about the bookstore’s opening and the store’s awesomeness when she said:
“Books and Cookies is a bookstore, but it’s more. Chudney has created a nurturing environment and a loving environment where learning takes place.”
The awesome family threw a party for the occasion, and Ashlee was able to supply her son with a ton of new books there! Including a new book called Goodnight iPad. Here’s what Ashlee said:
“We’ve always done Goodnight Moon. And there is a new book we just got called Goodnight iPad which is quite funny. He reads every night! And we brought two bags of books of his to donate today.”
Aww! We LOVE Goodnight Moon!!! Definitely a classic!
Sounds like Ashlee is making sure Bronx gets his share of books early! And if you’ve got young kids and live on the west coast, you may want to check out this store to possibly do the same!
