Ashlee Simspon, we mean Koko Stanley, needs to hire a new makeup artist – and fast.

Ass was spotted Thursday in New York City, heading to an interview for MTV’s It’s On with Alexa Chung.

No doubt that Ash was there to talk about the only real job she’s had in a while, her role on the new Melrose Place.

But seriously, what’s up with her look?

We like her outfit, and we’re loving her leopard clutch, but looking at Koko‘s face ruins the whole thing.

That bad hair dye, those burgundy-reddish lips, that hint of orange eyeliner.

Honey, stop channeling your inner vamp and time to tame that hair and makeup.

But hey, at least it’s a major improvement from THIS look!
