A Los Angeles woman committed heinous crimes against her family before taking her own life — all after concerning social media posts amid the total solar eclipse.
Danielle Johnson, her boyfriend Jaelen Chaney, and their 8-month-old infant are all dead after a series of violent crimes. In the early morning hours on Monday, the same day as the solar eclipse, Danielle took the life of her boyfriend at around 3:40 a.m. local time in their apartment. Then, she fled with her two kids — a 9-year-old and the 8-month-old, according to ABC 7.

While on the 405 freeway at around 4:30 a.m., she apparently forced the children to get out of the car. That led to the infant’s death. Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Guy Golan explained how it happened:
“The suspect slowed the vehicle and opened the passenger door for her daughter and told her to get out of the car. When the daughter didn’t do that, she forcibly pushed her out of the vehicle in the middle of the freeway while moving. The 9-year-old girl was holding the baby at that time when she was ejected from the vehicle. As she hit the roadway, she injured herself and she let go of the infant, being in the middle of the freeway.”
OMG… Tragically, the infant was struck by traffic, leading to her death.
So horrible.
Drivers called 911, and the 9-year-old was transported to a local hospital. Per an LAPD press release, she “sustained moderate injuries from the fall” and is now in custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.
A half an hour later, Danielle drove her Porsche SUV at speeds exceeding 100 MPH directly into a tree in Redondo Beach. She did not survive. The disturbed woman’s boyfriend Jaelen, 29, was discovered at around 7:35 a.m. after neighbors noticed their apartment door open. A 26-year-old who lived in the same building told ABC 7:
“Their door was wide open, there was blood on the floor leading into their apartment, and then a trail of it in the hallway leading up to the elevator, and I saw some blood on the walls.”
She told her father, and he called 911. He told the news station:
“Called the police and told them that something was not right. And they told me, when I spoke to the EMT, to go in and check on the body. So I did. And he was deceased, he was facedown on the floor. And there was a lot of blood.”
Danielle had apparently stabbed Jaelen to death after a “verbal altercation,” per the LAPD’s release. What a grisly morning.
Danielle, who went by Ayoka on X (Twitter) and had over 100k followers, had been posting about a “spiritual warfare” in the days leading to the solar eclipse. See (below):
