Aubrey O’Day is opening up about a terrifying possibility with Diddy.
In 50 Cent’s new Netflix documentary centering around the convicted criminal, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, Aubrey makes a terrifying revelation… she may have blocked out an alleged sexual assault by Diddy. In the doc, she reveals a lawyer representing an alleged victim of Diddy had reached out to her about a troubling affidavit:
“I was told it was an assault.”

The 41-year-old revealed she has no recollection of any such assault, but read terrifying accusations from the affidavit, which asserts the alleged victim walked into a room at Bay Boy studios and saw Diddy and another unnamed man assaulting Aubrey. The alleged victim claimed Aubrey, who was apparently partially undressed, seemed “out of it.” She asked in the doc:
“Does this mean I was raped? Is that what this means? I don’t even know if I was raped, and I don’t want to know.”
Aubrey also spoke about sexually explicit emails Diddy allegedly sent her while she was a member of Danity Kane:
“This is your boss at your work sending you that email. What happens in real life to anyone else? Your boss gets fired. Six months later, I was fired.”
She noted she “absolutely felt that I was fired for not participating sexually.”
Director Alexandria Stapleton told NBC News she spoke with Aubrey on the phone for hours to ensure the singer was comfortable sharing her story:
“I think what you see in the film is her struggling to digest, ‘Did this happen to me or not?’ And I think it’s a very real moment. I think matters of sexual assault, allegations like this, are very complex and very complicated. And I think that she’s a very real person who is walking you through why this feels so complicated.”
In response, Diddy’s team has issued the following statement to NBC News:
“We’re not going to comment on individual claims being repeated in the documentary. Many of the people featured have longstanding personal grievances, financial motives, or credibility issues that have been documented for years. Sean Combs will continue to address legitimate matters through the legal process, not through a biased Netflix production.”
It’s not clear if the affidavit was ever filed in court.
What a terrifying reality to face. Even just having to wonder if it did or didn’t happen after someone told you it did… That’s got to be a lot to wrestle with. Our hearts are with Aubrey.
