It sounds like there may be a chance of a romantic reboot for Audrina Patridge and Justin Bobby Brescia.
Both stars had some very telling things to say recently about how their rekindled friendship will play out in the upcoming MTV reboot of The Hills: New Beginnings.

On Wednesday, ET‘s Katie Krouse caught up with the reality TV personalities on the red carpet at the series premiere in El Lay.
Fans have been speculating (and not-so-secretly hoping) history would repeat itself and bring these old flames together again. Seeing as they’re both currently single, can we expect another whirlwind romance on our hands again? Possibly!
For his part, JB told the outlet he thinks “there will always be some kind of spark there” between him and his ex.
“We’ve known each other for so long and gone through so much stuff together, so how could there not.”
He went on explain how much things have changed for the both of them, since they went their separate ways years ago:
“We’re in and out. I just came back from a 10-year tour of the world. She had her little things with her other family.”
The “little things” he’s ambiguously referring to here sounds like Audrina’s marriage and two-year-old daughter, Kirra Max — whom she shares with soon-to-be ex-husband Corey Bohan.
He continued:
“We were kids when we were hanging out, so now we’re a little bit more adults. So I guess you’re going to see that.”
Uh, guess we will!
Audrina was careful in sharing her thoughts about the pair’s new dynamic, noting she “can’t say anything” as the cast is still filming.
However, she did acknowledge how far they go back together:
“I’ve known Justin since I was 19-years-old, it’s been so long.”
It certainly has been a while, but that didn’t stop her from agreeing with Justin’s earlier sentiments:
“I think there’s always going to be chemistry between us. But it’s all about timing.”
Timing is key here, as Audrina is still dealing with the aftermath of her divorce. The legal back-and-forth with Bohan over custody of their daughter, as well as the terms of the toddler’s appearance on the show has no doubt put a strain on her.
Patridge isn’t completely ruling out finding love again someday though! She admitted:
“I would love to get married again. And I want, like, two or three more kids.”
Who knows, maybe “the guy who wore combat boots to the beach” will steal her heart again once more.
Catch these two, returning cast mates Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Stephanie Pratt, and Whitney Port (but no Brody Jenner!), as well as new faces like Mischa Barton when The Hills: New Beginnings premieres on June 24.
