Weren’t TWO shiteous movies enough?!
A few months ago we reported that Drew Barrymore was attempting to remake Charlie’s Angels, once again, for television!! The star of the film adaptations has attempted to do this a few times and failed miserably trying to get the pilots off the ground.
Well, it appears that this year she and the film’s director, McG, are actually getting somewhere because they’re scouting to find the new trio of Angels!!
Barrymore wants the crimefighters to be “incredibly capable, but not take themselves too seriously. That’s a tough combination to find.”
Hey, if you could star in two movies as one, it can’t be that hard, sweetie.
McG also weighed in with his goal to find a diverse team of agents!
“This is a more progressive, 2010 take on the idea. We want to be even more progressive in terms of racial background.”
He claims his ideal casting choice would be Rihanna. Psssh.
We personally think the new skanks girls should be Asslee Simpson, Snooki Snickers, and Heidi Montag!!
A talentless hack, a guidette, and a hunk of plastic desperation! If that’s not a more ‘progressive, 2010 take on the idea’ than we don’t know what is!!
