Even though the rumor has really gained ground, David and Victoria Beckham have NOT purchased the iconic Versace mansion in Miami!
The Nakash family, the actual owners of the late Gianni Versace‘s Mediterranean style home, have spoken up about the rumored Beckham purchase in an effort to clear the air.
A spokesman for the family said:
“We have no idea where it came from. We have a call in to our PR firm. We’re thinking about issuing a statement. Apparently, it started somewhere in Italy.’’
The Nakashes bought the house, known as Casa Casuarina, for $41.5 million back in September of last year, so this new rumor about the Beckhams must’ve really taken them by surprise!
