We’ve definitely heard of having a green thumb before, but having a green toe?? That’s a new one to us!!
Bette Midler recently made her way down south to Texas where she was the keynote speaker at a Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas event!
However, something must’ve gone horribly wrong during her stay in the Lone Star State as she later posted a picture of her big toe all bandaged up! Bette took to Twitter to show off her banged up digit and wrote:
“My New York toes don’t love Texas cowboy boots….Looks like my green thumb has made its way down south!”
Ouch! Do they not make Dr. Scholl’s for cowboy boots?
While Bette blames the injury on her fancy footwear, sources close to her say it was actually caused by an ingrown toenail that was made worse by a bad pedicure! In fact, the pain was so bad she apparently had to get the toenail removed!
We guess The Divine Miss M learned the hard way that you do NOT want to mess with Texas pedicurists!
