Bette Midler has always been about providing inspiration to many, but her music and spirit especially hit home for one very sick girl.
28-year-old Anna Greenberg, who was a mega-fan of Bette, died last month after battling a rare form of cancer.
Days before Anna’s passing, Mizz Midler called the girl in the hospital and sang Wind Beneath My Wings, which was one of Anna’s last requests.
In the video, Bette professed:
“You’re such an angel. You’re such a wonderful soul and I am so glad that I got the chance to meet you.”
