Don’t read anymore if you don’t want to know what happened on the premiere of the new season of Celebrity Apprentice!
If you had told us Keshia Knight Pulliam, AKA Rudy Huxtable from The Cosby Show, would be the first person fired on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice because of her relation to Bill Cosby, we would have understood.
As an accused sexual predator, he’s a hot button topic right now; you don’t want the show connected to that kind of controversy.

At least, that’s what we would have THOUGHT!
Turns out, Keshia was cut from the show because she didn’t bring Bill close ENOUGH to it!
How rude-y!
Of course, this is TV, so the entire season of the reality hit was filmed months ago, before this media firestorm surrounding the sexual assault allegations.

Back then things were simple. Celebs were competing against other celebs to sell the most pies for charity.
Keshia became the first team leader for the ladies, but teammate Kenya Moore had complaints about Keshia not playing the Cosby card:
“The first person she should be calling is Bill Cosby because I know he has deep pockets… Keshia, your TV dad is accessible to you and you don’t call him for a donation? Okay, that’s just crazy.”
Seems to us like she was saving the pie endeavor from the taint of bad press. Did Keshia know the whole time to steer clear of her costar?

One person who clearly didn’t know was Donald Trump, who berated Keshia for not getting Cosby on the show. He said:
“Doesn’t Kenya bring up this good point, that you have this tremendous guy with a tremendous amount of money and one call you could have won the whole task?”
Yeah. That’s WHY she got fired. For keeping the show Cosby-free.
At least Rudy comes out smelling like roses in retrospect, right?
