Our hearts absolutely broke back in December when Billie Lourd lost not only her beloved mother, Carrie Fisher, but also her grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, in a matter of two days.
Understandably, the Scream Queens star has kept a pretty low profile since then — aside from sharing precious photos with her loved ones and taking much-needed time away with her boyfriend, Taylor Lautner.

On Wednesday, the 24-year-old took to Instagram with another throwback photo demonstrating her special bond with her momma, as a little Billie sits on the Star Wars star’s lap and gazes up at the sky:
