Geeks (and Gleeks!) are freaking our everywhere today as news has surfaced of a special guest director for an upcoming episode of Glee:
Joss Whedon!
The man behind Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog and, least us not forget, the musical episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, happens to be a huge fan of the Ryan Murphy show and was only too happy to step in as director for an episode.
Ryan commented on the newest addition to the Glee-verse, saying:
“Joss directed one of the great musical episodes in the history of television on Buffy so this is a great, if unexpected, fit. I’m thrilled he’ll be loaning us his fantastic groundbreaking talent.”
No word yet as to which episode or when it will air, but we’re sure the episode will be attracting a lot of nerdy eyeballs!
