We can’t believe it’s been a year.
The world lost Carrie Fisher on December 27, 2016, and we collectively have not gotten over the loss.
We suppose it didn’t help being reminded of the icon as she donned the mantle of Princess Leia one last time in this month’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

But now it’s time for closure, for her movie brother Mark Hamill and for those who loved her from afar.

A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, a little girl watched a movie about a princess that didn’t need saving, and she grew up and became an aerospace engineer that builds spacecraft and that takes no crap. Thank you, Carrie. #CarrieOnForever pic.twitter.com/n7LM5f8VJO
