We can’t even begin to imagine what the Fishers are going through right now.
On Tuesday, the late Star Wars actress’ half-sisters, Joely and Tricia Fisher, took to Twitter to express their heartbreak over Carrie Fisher‘s untimely passing. How sad.

In case you didn’t know, Joely and Tricia are the children of Carrie’s father, Eddie Fisher, and his second wife, Connie Stevens. The ladies wrote:

Someone pass us the tissues, please.
The Fisher sisters are just the latest loved ones to pay tribute to the film icon following her death. As you may recall, Carrie suffered from a massive heart attack while on a flight from London to LAX. Upon landing in Los Angeles, the megastar was rushed to UCLA Medical Center — where she ultimately died.
Her mother Debbie Reynolds and daughter Billie Lourd have since released statements on their loss.
We’re wishing Miz Fisher’s family only the best as they continue to mourn the acclaimed writer.
