Britney Spears Is Making $$$ With Her New Vegas Residency!

It’s Britney, bitch… and she’s rich AF!

According to DailyMail.com on Wednesday, Miz Spears is moving on from her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood, and has signed a new deal for the Park Theater, a few hundred meters south on the famous Strip.

And get this…

The Toxic singer will reportedly be making $507,000 a show, which will make her the highest paid entertainer in Sin City. She will dethrone Celine Dion, who makes $476,000 per night.

The 36-year-old will reportedly begin her new gig next year, most likely in the spring.

After teasing a “big announcement” on Ellen DeGeneres‘ talk show last week, Britney is expected to spill the exciting news on Thursday, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of her debut hit …Baby One More Time.

She will reportedly appear at Toshiba Plaza in front of the T-Mobile Arena, and the event will be broadcast live on DeGeneres’ YouTube channel.

A source told the publication:

“Britney is becoming the highest paid resident on the Strip. It is a huge deal and will be great news for her fans… This month is the 20th anniversary of her debut release and it feels like the best time to make this announcement… She loves performing in Vegas, being able to please her fans and juggle her family life with her boys. This deal has been many months in the making… The money seems astronomical, but it is a fair price for a woman who has a proven track record of selling out shows here… On top of that she will be promoting the casino and doing club appearances for the company, which on top of the PR value of her name globally is pretty strong… Britney is already working on new routines so that the show differs from Piece Of Me [show]. She is committed to making this bigger and better than her last run.”

Keira Knightley Reveals She Had A Mental Breakdown At 22

PTSD At 22

Keira Knightley Opens Up About Her Mental Breakdown

At the height of her popularity, Keira Knightley was crumbling behind the scenes.

In 2008, the Brit beauty was 22 years old and promoting two films — the blockbuster trilogy ender Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and the critically acclaimed Atonement, for which she was nominated for multiple awards.

And inside she was struggling just to leave the house.

The star explained to The Hollywood Reporter‘s Awards Chatter podcast this week it was right after Britney Spears‘ breakdown had become an enormous tabloid seller:

“It was big money to get pictures of women falling apart.”

Why?

“Because you wanted them to be sexy, but you wanted to punish them for that sexuality. If you weren’t breaking down in front of them, then it was worth their while to make you break down in front of them.”

That’s horrible. She continued:

“So suddenly there was a level of violence, it felt, in the air, that is not a thing that anybody would react to well. I think I’ve always had a f**k you button and it was so obvious that they wanted me to fall, and I had such, like, an ‘I’m not gonna give you what you want.’ So there was a sense of battle every day leaving the house.”

Keira says the critical acclaim she started to get a couple years earlier for Pride And Prejudice, for which she was nominated for an Oscar, didn’t help:

“It was still very confusing. Because you’re getting all these nominations for all of these things, but press-wise, when I’m going into interviews, people are still saying, ‘Everybody thinks you’re s**t,’ or focusing on your looks, or focusing on what’s wrong with you. And, again, I was 19 [actually 20 when nominated] — you can only hear the negative stuff. I felt pretty much like actually I didn’t exist and I was this weird creature with this weird face that people seemed to respond to in quite an extreme way, and I couldn’t quite figure any of it out.”

The attention for Atonement was flattering — the obligation to actually go to awards shows was not:

“I hadn’t been out of the house for three months when the BAFTA nomination happened, and I remember having conversations with my agent and going, ‘I can’t get there,’ and everyone going, ‘If you don’t get to the BAFTAs, the heat on you is going to be ten times more.’ So I actually did hypnotherapy so that I could stand on the red carpet at the BAFTAs and not have a panic attack.”

It all ended up causing a full breakdown in 2008. Keira reveals:

“I did have a mental breakdown at 22, so I did take a year off there and was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder because of all that stuff.”

She says:

“I went deep into therapy and all of that, and [a therapist] said, ‘It’s amazing — I normally come in here and have people that think people are talking about them and they think that they’re being followed, but actually they’re not. You’re the first person that actually that is happening to!'”

These days Keira is feeling confident, which is a good thing — because her new film Colette is getting her some awards attention again!

Britney Spears Reportedly ‘Very Unhappy’ About Kevin Federline’s Child Support Increase

You Drive Me Crazy!

Britney Spears Is Not Happy About Her Child Support Increase With Ex-Husband Kevin Federline

The child support drama between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline is finally “over”.

As we told you, the famous exes settled on a new child support agreement this week that ended with Brit paying thousands more each month.

Now sources close to E! and Spears’ legal team say the Gimme More singer is not happy about the new price tag attached to her ex-husband and kids.

According to the insider, the new monthly child support amount Federline will receive was agreed upon by both parties, and was based on the Toxic singers’s current and expected income.

But even still, Britney is reportedly less than thrilled:

“They are not happy and think the settlement is ludicrous, but they wanted to make an agreement so that they could move on.”

Spears was also recently ordered to pay her baby daddy $100,000 to cover his legal fees and expenses during their negotiations.

The insider continued that although she’s “very unhappy”, the momma of two understands it’s “in her best interest” to move on from the legal turmoil:

“She was tired of fighting about it and is ready to get on with her life and put this behind her.”

Well, with the next run of her Las Vegas residency coming up, we’re sure Britney will keep her pockets lined.

But you know what they say — mo’ money mo’ problems!

Does that mean these two will be back in court again sometime soon? Hmm…

Britney Spears Finally Settles Her Child Support Drama With Kevin Federline

The child support drama is finally over!

Britney Spears and ex Kevin Federline have come to an agreement, with The Blast sources saying the singer will be paying him thousands more per month.

While the details of the deal are confidential, Brit’s lawyer Laura Wasser worked out the deal with Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan, so at least the exes didn’t have to go head-to-head in person.

We’re sure these two are glad they can move on, though we doubt BritBrit is pleased about having to pay more!
