Well, Cody Simpson must certainly hope so after publishing his latest poem about “making love” to his Prince Neptune Poet Instagram account!

On Monday, the 22-year-old shared a picture of a woman standing on a balcony, along with the words:
“the moon’s souvenir
the boulevardier
a ballerina on the promenadewe open our curtains
to the domesticated world
for a natural hour
spinning elvis records
and making love
in the soft jewelled morning
– Prince Neptune”

And it seems this piece was inspired by reality as just the day prior, Cody posted a video to his IG Stories of him and Miley singing Elvis Presley‘s Ku-U-I-Po while watching the movie Blue Hawaii during their date night!
Now we know what they did after the film was over! LOLz!
“Soft jewelled” mornings aside, the Australian and Disney Channel alum have been heating up just over the last few days.
For those who haven’t been keeping up with Cyrus, she and Simpson were spotted kissing at an El Lay restaurant on Thursday. An Us Weekly eye witness said of the new couple:
“They walked in holding hands and looked around a bit, but then started to get pretty comfortable and were not shy about showing their affection toward each other at all. They were both standing at first, flirting and kissing. Then they came and sat down. Miley got up and sat on Cody’s lap and started making out with him. His name was called at the counter, and he grabbed his smoothie bowl, and they left together holding hands.”
Only the very next day, the 26-year-old Slide Away songstress confirmed and defended the new fling on her social media account, penning a lengthy message to her Stories:
“I know the public feels invested in my past relationship because they felt like they saw it thru from the beginning… I think that’s why people have always felt so entitled over my life and how I live it because they’ve watched me grow up… but I am grown now and make choices as an adult knowing the truth/details/reality. People only ‘know’ what they see on the internet.”
The pop star even called out the double standard when it comes to men and women dating:
“Men (especially successful ones) are RARELY slut shamed. They move on from one beautiful young woman to the next MOST times without consequence. They are usually referenced as ‘legends,’ ‘heart throbs,’ ‘G,’ ‘ladies’ man,’ etc… where women are called sluts/whores! I am trying to just THRIVE/survive in a ‘mans’ world… if we can’t beat ’em, join ’em! If our president can ‘grab ’em by the p***y’ can’t I just have a kiss and açaí bowl?!?!”
She continued:
“I refuse to recluse and ‘date’ from home cause A. That’s not fun B. Extremely uncomfortable/puts me in a vulnerable position… I would like to share an activity with someone I am dating and not be stuck at home with pretty much nothing to do but ‘Netflix and chill.'”
This is a new chapter in her life, and she’s ready to live it up!
“This ‘dating’ thing is new to me too. I’ve never been an ‘adult’/grown ass woman experiencing this… I was in a committed relationship for almost all my teens and early 20s; with the exception of a few break, which usually in those times I was working my ass off with not much R&R… and ‘meeting/trusting’ people in my position is really [tough]. Don’t f**king pity me, not what I’m asking for. I have a great life I wouldn’t trade for ‘privacy’ but PLEASE don’t make this awkward for me! I am trying to make light and like always MAKE FUN of myself/and the public’s perception of me! Get used to me dating — this is where I am at! #HotGirlFall”
