Darren Criss has done it again and reminded all us Gleeks of his pure heart. Even Cosmo agrees, naming him October’s “Cosmo Guy.” As if we needed another reason to love the guy.
It also doesn’t hurt that Darren will be returning in season 5 of Glee, which will be kicked off with Beatles’ themed episodes. All you need is love?
Unfortunately, there was a time when that wasn’t so true for Darren.
In Cosmopolitan├óΓé¼Γäós October issue, Darren confessed the best advice he’s ever received from an ex:
“When I was a junior in college, I’d broken up with a girl, but there were those residual months when I was still calling her all the time and wanting to spend time with her. Basically, she sat me down and said, “Listen, you broke my heart. Accept responsibility for your actions, be a man, and leave me alone, because it’s only going to make things worse.” I’ll always remember that as a pivotal moment in my life. I hope she’s reading this because I love her for it.”
The fact that Darren appreciates his ex-gf for that piece of advice only shows us how amazing of a guy he is! If only he weren’t taken. At least we know he’s treating her right!
And the hawt crooner also spoke about his confidence in his own sexuality off screen since he plays the role of a gay character, Blaine, on Glee.
He explained:
“I know who I am. I feel bad for guys who have to flex their muscles. But hey, if that’s the way to make yourself feel comfortable as a man├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥as long as it isn’t antagonizing anybody├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥go for it. I’m okay with your getting a Miata to feel like a dude; just don’t be a dick about it.”
Well said, Darren! It doesn’t hurt that confidence in who you are is a HUGE turn on either!
