Have you gotten to the point where there’s too much Donald Trump news to keep up with again?
It’s almost as bad as when he was president, right?? There’s too many scandals to even see them all? They each distract from the last!

Well, if you still want to stay informed, but it’s all just too much, here’s a quick roundup of all the scandals that would be career-ending for any other politician, but for the golf club owner are just par for the course…
Stormfront Trump
You may have heard about Trump badmouthing Kamala Harris and Joe Biden‘s response to Hurricane Helene. You know, outright lies like saying Georgia governor Brian Kemp couldn’t get hold of the president — despite the fact Kemp said Biden had called him the day before offering whatever he needed.
Trump also said Biden and Harris “are universally being given POOR GRADES for the way that they are handling the Hurricane, especially in North Carolina.” The opposite is true, they’re getting bipartisan support. Why? The governors of the southern states affected are Republican… and that doesn’t matter! When it comes to helping Americans in need, that’s the president’s job! They’re sworn to serve ALL OF US!
Where did Trump come up with the idea Biden and Harris would abandon national disaster victims based on their politics? Turns out it’s what HE did! For real!
According to two Trump White House officials spilling to Politico‘s E&E News, the Celebrity Apprentice host wanted to tell the citizens of Southern California to go eff themselves during the wildfires of 2018. Why? Because California is a *blue state*. For real.
Mark Harvey, once senior director for resilience policy on the National Security Council staff, and Olivia Troye, a homeland security adviser, said Wednesday that Trump refused to approve disaster aid. Harvey and his staff had to prove to the POTUS that there were Republicans in Orange County to get him to change his mind:
“We went as far as looking up how many votes he got in those impacted areas … to show him ‘these are people who voted for you.'”
Learning of this shocking exchange, Biden tweeted Thursday:
“You can’t only help those in need if they voted for you. It’s the most basic part of being president, and this guy knows nothing about it.”
So if you see those AI photos of Trump wading in the floodwaters to help people, remember — not only are those fake, so is the sentiment behind them. Trump doesn’t want to help Americans, he thinks in quid pro quo.
It’s Called GoFund*ME*
But Trump isn’t just exploiting Hurricane Helene to score political points — he may actually be stealing money from them.
There are several great places to donate to help the victims of Hurricane Helene. Need a good place to start? Look at all the links HERE. Trump knows that of course, but still he started his own GoFundMe page to raise money for those affected. Why would he do that? If what matters is getting them the money, why not share links to all the places to donate directly and send his followers there?
Well, we wouldn’t bet on all of the $4.7 million and climbing that Trump has raised finding its way to Helene survivors any time soon. That’s a messed up thing to say, we know, but… Let’s take a look at his record here!
See, Trump did another GoFundMe back in July to raise money for the victims of the attempted assassination. Trump may not have been injured, but people in the crowd were. And so far the crowdfunding page has raised over $6.6 million… but for whom??
According to the New York Times, none of that money has found its way to any victims yet. And it’s been nearly three months! This comes straight from the victims, per the outlet, which reports:
“The bulk of that money has not yet been distributed, according to the widow of one victim and a lawyer for the other two.”
So… WTF??
Well… We have to look at what he’s always done with charity. When the Eric Trump Foundation was raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Trump Organization — that’s Dad’s for-profit company, mind you — billed the charity “hundreds of thousands of dollars” for using their golf courses, according to Forbes. They looked like they were being charitable — offering those spaces for free. But they actually ended up costing St. Jude’s $1.2 million that could have gone to help sick kids.
This is also the reason the Trump Foundation was dissolved by the New York State Attorney General. An investigation found the Trump family charity had engaged in “a shocking pattern of illegality” in which all the money supposed to go to charity actually went to the Trumps. They are no longer allowed to do charity work. They’re banned from it. YOU KNOW HOW CROOKED YOU HAVE TO BE TO GET BANNED FROM CHARITY WORK???
Will this GoFundMe go to victims? Or to his campaign? Will anyone actually track the money down? We certainly hope so!
No Heart
Trump once again dismissed the injuries of US servicemen and women this week — and inadvertently brought up ANOTHER scandal no one knew about! These aren’t even October surprises, this is just Trump getting close to the presidency and all the scandals waking back up like porchlights with motion detectors!
The former president was asked in a press conference on Tuesday, amid Iran’s current aggression:
“Do you believe you should’ve been tougher on Iran after they had launched ballistic missiles in 2020 on US forces in Iraq leaving more than 100 US soldiers injured?”
His answer? If you honestly think he held himself accountable for anything, you haven’t been paying attention.
No, Trump began by attacking the US soldiers who suffered traumatic brain injuries from the explosions:
“So, first of all, ‘injured.’ What does injured mean? Injured means you mean because you mean because they had a headache? Because the bombs never hit the fort? … There was nobody ever tougher in Iraq.”
Reporter: Do you believe you should’ve been tougher on Iran after they had launched ballistic missiles in 2020 on US forces leaving more than 100 soldiers injured?

Downplaying the horrible injuries our guys suffered when an explosion went off right next to them? Why would he do that? Well, it turns out it’s what he did back then, in January 2020. When asked about the missile attack a week after it happened, he told reporters he “heard they had headaches” and “I can report it is not very serious.”
See, he was trying to make it look like it wasn’t a big deal — to reassure everyone everything he was doing was working. Make sense?
That’s dishonest. But what came next is evil.
According to a bombshell CBS News investigation in 2021, dozens of soldiers injured in the attack had been submitted for the Purple Heart. It’s the medal given to soldiers injured while serving their country. (It also comes with lifetime benefits.) But most of the soldiers were denied. Why? One of the leaders of the mission, Captain Geoffrey Hansen, told the outlet he tried to move the request up the chain of command after being rejected — but was told to stop asking about it because “the political situation wasn’t going to support more approvals.” WTF does that mean??
Well, it turns out Trump had decided it was just headaches — and if they got Purple Hearts, then he was wrong. And he’s not allowed to be wrong. From the CBS report:
“The soldiers CBS spoke with said after the attack, there was pressure to downplay the growing injuries to avoid a further escalation with Iran and avoid undercutting former President Trump.”
Trump kept these soldiers from getting their Purple Hearts so it wouldn’t dispute his “alternative facts.” Like we said, that’s just evil, man.
After the CBS reporting, once the real reason was out in the open, the Army reversed their decision and awarded them all the Purple Heart. But Trump isn’t admitting he was wrong. Nope, for him it’s still “headaches.” Why? Remember when he dissed John McCain? Because he likes guys “that weren’t captured.” He called soldiers who died for our country “losers” and “suckers.” This is who the man is. Service means NOTHING to him. Only his personal power.
‘He Resorted To Crimes’
Remember how Trump was facing multiple criminal trials, and apart from that one measly conviction (on 34 counts of falsifying business records) it all sort of went away? The judges Trump appointed did a great job of helping him out of some tough positions, including the Supreme Court, who decided presidents can just commit crimes now. Sigh.
Well, Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is still on the case, and when it comes to Trump’s involvement in January 6 and trying to overturn the 2020 election, he’s arguing Trump was not acting as president but as a private citizen. And because of the legal filings back and forth, this case — which was supposed to be tried and over with long before the election — is still going now. And the latest legal filing has just gone public.
Smith’s filing lays out the case for SCOTUS beat by beat to show Trump’s intent — and it’s damning stuff. The document’s introduction states when Donald “lost the 2020 presidential election, he resorted to crimes to try to stay in office.” Smith describes “a series of increasingly desperate plans to overturn the legitimate election results” including:
- “lying to state officials in order to induce them to ignore true vote counts;
- manufacturing fraudulent electoral votes in the targeted states;
- attempting to enlist Vice President Michael R. Pence, in his role as President of the Senate, to obstruct Congress’s certification of the election by using the defendant’s fraudulent electoral votes;
- and when all else had failed, on January 6, 2021, directing an angry crowd of supporters to the United States Capitol to obstruct the congressional certification.”
The filing shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump was told he had lost and acknowledged privately that he’d lost — but that he didn’t care and said he’d fight it anyway. He was overheard telling his family:
“It doesn’t matter if you won or lost the election. You still have to fight like hell.”
Vice President Pence refused to go along with the plan to stop the certification because he saw no evidence of voter fraud. Trump is quoted as telling Pence, “you’re too honest” — implying he knew Pence was telling the truth and there was no fraud. That he intended to just say there was. Because lying is what comes easily for him.
As for January 6? After bullying his Vice President didn’t work, he encouraged his followers to come to a rally down the street from where the certification was happening. He told them to march over there and “fight” for him.
His followers beat up police, broke into the Capitol Building, and searched for members of Congress and the VP. They infamously chanted “Hang Mike Pence!” Trump knew this was happening. And Smith is making a good argument he encouraged it. After all, he tweeted mid-riot:
“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!”
Like he was siccing his followers on the Veep, angry he wouldn’t lie for him. Pence, whose family was with him, was rushed to a secure location. His security detail were reportedly so scared they made final phone calls to their families just in case.
Trump was informed of this, of course, as he watched the chaos unfold on Fox News — and refused to call on the rioters to stop and go home. The exact moment is included in the filing:
“Upon receiving a phone call alerting him that Pence had been taken to a secure location, [PERSON 15] rushed to the dining room to inform [Trump] in hopes that the defendant would take action to ensure Pence’s safety. Instead, after [P15] delivered the news, the defendant looked at him and said only, ‘So what?'”
He said, “So what?” He literally was told the man’s life was in danger, and he said, “So what?”
It’s a shocking document, which frankly we don’t expect anyone to actually read, though you can HERE. But wow. Smith’s case, it should be noted, will be called a DEMOCRAT WITCH HUNT by Trump, no doubt. But it comes from the testimony of dozens of witnesses, over 80 in fact — all Republicans. Mostly Trump loyalists, in fact.
The whole thing seems to be a clear-cut case proving Trump knowingly led a conspiracy of fraud, coercion, and violence to try to maintain his presidential power. And now he’s running again. And his new running mate JD Vance refuses to admit Trump lost in 2020, proving that unlike Pence, he won’t stand up to his boss.
