Emma Watson has had a VERY eventful decade.
Though, it turns out the actress, made famous by the monstrously beloved Harry Potter franchise, wasn’t sure if she wanted to stay in the public eye following the end of the magical films.
She revealed to Total Film magazine that shortly after filming the final wizarding movie, she chose to take a step back from all the madness and get a handle of things. Emma revealed:
“I basically took two years out and stepped as far away from it as I could├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I mean the Harry Potter films were still coming out but I took time to really try and figure out who I was and what I wanted to do. I even considered not being an actress.”
Thank goodness it only went that far!! We can’t imagine the world of film without this beautiful brunette. Not to mention the fact that had she chosen to pursue a different career, we would have never seen the highly-anticipated The Bling Ring come to life!!
Speaking of her role in Sofia Coppola├óΓé¼Γäós latest film, Emma admitted to some differences and similarities — though very few — she shares with her thieving character, Nicki:
“I think anyone can relate to those teenage years when you’re feeling pressured by what your friends are doing, feeling very image conscious, wanting to fit in. What I couldn’t really identify with was that I’m quite a private person and Nicki’s an exhibitionist├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥she absolutely loves attention and wants to be seen. So she’s really the opposite from me from that perspective.”
