This Is F'ed Up!

Yet ANOTHER sign that our economy is in the crapper!

American Airlines announced on Wednesday that they’ll start charging $15 for the first checked bag, cut domestic flights and lay off workers as it grapples with record-high fuel prices.

SUCKS that more people are going to lose work!

And, it SUCKS that we have to pay to check baggage in. Just gives us that much more incentive to only take carry-on, but now everyone’s gonna start doing that too!

The passenger cabin will be even more sucky on American than it already is.

EVERYONE will probably max out the 2 carry-on policy. Oh, and bet u can’t wait to deal with overworked, under-resourced airline staff.

Last month, American announced it would join other carriers in charging $25 for second bags checked for some passengers, but it wasn’t immediately clear how Wednesday’s announcement would affect that, according to the source.
