Gal Gadot wants to make one thing clear: you don’t have to be a girl to rock Wonder Woman gear!
On Tuesday, the Wonder Woman star tweeted a Romper article written by a parent about her 5-year-old son’s desire to wear a WW backpack on his first day of kindergarten at a new school — and she’s ALL for it!

In the article, Katie Alicea wrote that she was hesitant to buy her son Isaac the backpack — which came with the character’s iconic crown, no less — because she feared he would be made fun of.
But ultimately, the Florida mom realized she shouldn’t be instilling those debilitating social fears in her heroic little trendsetter. She explained:
“The truth is, if I start to worry about what the world thinks, Isaac will start to worry too and I don’t want that. Isaac is a world-changer and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the coolest kid I know.”
Truth!
Gadot commended Isaac’s mother for “breaking gender stereotypes” in her reaction, adding that she hoped the little Wonder Boy rocked his backpack and crown like the hero he is. She tweeted:
Just read this article about breaking gender stereotypes by Katie Alicea. Such an important topic and something I believe in so strongly. I hope Issac wore the crown and his WW backpack proudly to school. 🙅ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸#WonderBoy pic.twitter.com/sCbfprbG5y
