It was an emotional evening on Glee last night between the shocking return of Dave Karoksky and the chilling cliffhanger that has all the Gleeks buzzing, but it also was a terrific night of performances.
It helped that it was Regionals!
There were songs from the Warblers and songs from New Directions (and their sister group, The Troubletones), but it was perhaps the show’s opening number that will be most remembered by fans. Darren Criss’ performance of Cough Syrup underscoring the tragedy that struck one of McKinley’s own was fitting and frightening.
