The prayers of thousands of British Gleeks have been answered! The cast of Glee is on their way across the pond for a tour!
Ryan Murphy has revealed to sources that his mega set of talented stars are headed to the U.K. this summer to do a string of five shows. In a statement, the co-creator explained that he had such a “great time” putting together last summer’s U.S. mini-tour that he couldn’t wait to get the kids together to do it again. He added:
“People around the world want to see our cast live and in person, so this European tour is our way of thanking them for the unbelievable way they’ve embraced our little show.”
Little show? Please, Ryan! We were there last May! We know you like to pull out all the stops! Those Brit’s are in for something amazing!
But before all you Gleeks here in the USA get jealous, you should know that Ryan also dropped a hint that the tour could make its way back to the states next year as well! He teased:
“For everyone in America who has asked if we’ll be back to a city near them this summer, stay tuned. We’ll have some exciting news very soon.”
That sounds like a very, very, VERY good sign to us!
