It’s going to be a pretty epic undertaking for an episode, but if anyone can pull it off, Ryan Murphy can!
There are some HUGE episodes coming in season two of Glee, from the highly anticipated Brit-Brit homage to the super-secret plans for a post- Superbowl episode. Still, one of the biggest announcements to come out of the gleek camp was the news that the show would be doing a Rocky Horror Picture Show tribute around Halloween!
The big question one everyone’s minds, including the cast, is who is going to play who in relation to the movie. As the “closest guarded secret” on set at the moment, all the cast can do is pray they get who they want. Princess Lea Michele hopes she’ll get Susan Sarandon’s role, while Jane Lynch is aiming for the Narrator. Jenna Ushkowitz wants dibs on Magenta and Chris Colfer, well, he has his sights set high! He told sources:
“I pray that I’m Riff Raff because he’s the best one. He sings ‘Time Warp.’ From the time we shot the pilot I’ve been stressing to Ryan Murphy how much I want to sing ‘Time Warp.'”
Oh, let him do it Ryan! The kid got nominated for an Emmy! He deserves it!
But wait a second? What about the most iconic role of all?! Who is going to play transvestite Frank-N-Furter??
We got our money on either Matthew Morrison or Cory Monteith. Matt definitely has the legs to pull off those stockings, but there may not be anyway to avoid the inevitable Frankenteen / Frank-N-Furter comparison!
