Wow!
In the first upset of the night, Joanne Froggatt won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film for her work on Downton Abbey!
We’re a little surprised that Uzo Aduba didn’t take home the award, but Joanne totally deserved the win, especially after her very powerful rape storyline on the PBS series.
The 34-year-old actress beat out Uzo for Orange Is the New Black, Kathy Bates for American Horror Story: Freak Show, Allison Janney for Mom, and Michelle Monaghan for True Detective.
Congrats, Joanne!
