Joanne Froggatt Provides The First Upset Of The Night By Winning The Golden Globe For Best Supporting Actress On Television!

Wow!
In the first upset of the night, Joanne Froggatt won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film for her work on Downton Abbey!
We’re a little surprised that Uzo Aduba didn’t take home the award, but Joanne totally deserved the win, especially after her very powerful rape storyline on the PBS series.
The 34-year-old actress beat out Uzo for Orange Is the New Black, Kathy Bates for American Horror Story: Freak Show, Allison Janney for Mom, and Michelle Monaghan for True Detective.
Congrats, Joanne!
Check out her speech (above)!
