An early spring!
Punxsutawney Phil emerged just after dawn to make his 125th annual weather forecast on Groundhog Day in front of a crowd in rural Pennsylvania.
Not that it really mattered to us, but all of you out there still digging your car out from two feet of snow can appreciate the world’s most famous groundhog’s rare prediction.
According to the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club’s Inner Circle, Phil has seen his shadow a whopping 98 times since 1887, so we should consider ourselves lucky this year!
Maybe it had something to do with the rotten weather that as a result drew a smaller-than-usual crowd to the event or maybe it was decided 14 days in advance by the club’s Inner Circle.
We’d love to control the weather! How can we get in that inner circle thing?
