Don’t come for Hailey Bieber!
On Thursday, the 23-year-old defended herself against allegations that she’s had plastic surgery done over the years. Her explanation for her these accusations? Editing!

After an Instagram account shared a side by side pic comparing images of her as a teen and one from the present day, the model hopped into the comments section to stand up for herself. On the now-deleted post (see it HERE) she wrote:
“Stop using pics that are edited by makeup artists! This photo on the right is NOT what I look like…”
Social media can definitely be a confusing place, especially when celebs Photoshop or alter their appearances before sharing pics online. Combine that with editing, and people can look totally different IRL!!
Hail added:
“I’ve never touched my face. So if you’re gonna sit around and compare me at 13, and then me at 23, at least use a natural photo that wasn’t edited so crazy.”
Mrs. Bieber is not the only supermodel who has had to do this!! Just a few days ago, Gigi Hadid chatted with Maybelline makeup artist Erin Parsons during an Instagram Live and shut down accusations of fillers and injections:
“People think I do fillers on my face and that’s why my face is round? I’ve had this since I was born. No, for those wondering, I’ve never injected anything into my face,” the 25-year-old said. “I am so happy for everyone to do whatever they want that makes them happy and makes them feel more comfortable and good about themselves. Me personally, it terrifies me. I feel I’m too much of a control freak. I’m like, ‘What if it goes wrong?'”
She added:
“People are so fast to do permanent things to their face when really, I accept myself how it is.”
And in case there was any additional doubt, Gigi is pregnant, but has “always” had a plump face:
“Especially fashion month, when I was already, like, a few months preggo, you know.”
Miz Hadid encouraged her fans to “accept your beautiful face for exactly how god made it, and your mom and dad,” and noted:
“I have the cheeks already, so it’s like there’s not a lot to like, fill in. Don’t worry. I’m happy with the natural process of the world.”
There will always be haters out there, but these ladies seem fairly well-equipped to deal with criticism!!
